CDMX, (Notifax).- La reforma a la ley de Protección Animal de la CDMX, fue promulgada esta mañana por el jefe de Gobierno Miguel Ángel Mancera Espinosa en un evento realizado en el Antiguo Palacio del Ayuntamiento donde se anunció que para la instalación de la agencia del cuidado animal se contará con un presupuesto inicial de 10 millones de pesos.
Mancera Espinosa dio a conocer que el primer hospital para el cuidado de los animales ha llevado a cabo más de 60 mil atenciones y anunció que el segundo se construirá en Álvaro Obregón.
En su momento , la actriz y activista Silvia Pasquel remarcó que la lucha por los animales no es sólo un acto de humanidad sino de justicia.
Asimismo, pidió al Gobierno capitalino que el responsable de la agencia de atención animal sea un activista de la sociedad civil. “No queremos una oficina burocrática en la que se ponga gente amiga a los funcionarios”, puntualizó.
