CDMX, (Notifax).- El Presidente de la República, Enrique Peña Nieto, visitó la exposición Picasso y Rivera: Conversaciones a través del Tiempo, que se exhibe en el Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes.
Así lo informó la Presidencia de la República al subrayar que acompañado por los destacados artistas mexicanos Ignacio López Tarso, el pintor y escultor Manuel Felguérez, y la pintora Sandra Pani, así como por la Secretaria de Cultura, María Cristina García Cepeda.
Cabe señalar que la exposición muestra las coincidencias académicas y formales de los dos artistas. Estará abierta al público hasta el próximo 10 de septiembre del año en curso.
La exposición está integrada por 147 piezas entre pinturas, grabados y acuarelas, 45 de ellas de Pablo Picasso y 54 de Diego Rivera.
Entre las obras más trascendentes están nueve cuadros que vienen del Museo Picasso de París, además de tres creaciones inéditas de Rivera.
