CDMX, (Notifax).- El pleno de la Cámara de Diputados aprobó, con 469 a favor, tres en contra y seis abstenciones eliminar la figura del fuero y cambiar las reglas de la inmunidad, con lo que altos servidores públicos, incluido el presidente de la República podrán ser sujetos a proceso penal en libertad.
El dictamen permite también que los servidores públicos sean privados de la libertad para compurgar la pena, cuando exista sentencia condenatoria de un juez que cause ejecutoria, respetando la inmunidad constitucional.
El documento que modifica los artículos 38, 61, 108, 111 y 112 y deroga el primer párrafo de la fracción V del Artículo 74 de la Carta Magna, tiene el propósito de cambiar las reglas de la inmunidad de los altos servidores públicos.
