CDMX, (Notifax).- El gobernador del Banco de México (BdM), Agustín Carstens, continuará en su cargo hasta noviembre, a petición del Ejecutivo Federal, afirmaron fuentes del banco.
Cabe recordar que desde finales del año pasado, Carstens anunció su retiro del BdM a partir del primero de julio de este año, luego de que fue designado gerente general del Banco de Pagos Internacionales.
Estaba previsto que cumpliría con su nuevo nombramiento a partir del primero de octubre de 2017, pero Carstens informó a sus colaboradores que dejaría el cargo de gobernador del banco central al terminar junio, decisión que modificó hoy por petición del presidente Enrique Peña.
