CDMX, (Notifax).- El Primer Ministro de Canadá, Justin Trudeau, realizará una visita oficial a México los días 12 y 13 de octubre próximos, con el objetivo de continuar con los esfuerzos de colaboración en aspectos clave de la agenda bilateral, informó la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE).
Puntualizó lo anterior al recalcar que esta visita se da en seguimiento a la que realizó el presidente Enrique Peña Nieto a Canadá en junio de 2016.
Durante la visita, los mandatarios tratarán temas referentes a la competitividad, emprendimiento e innovación, así como el fortalecimiento de los flujos comerciales entre ambos países.
La SRE recordó que en 2016, Canadá fue el cuarto socio comercial de México con un comercio bilateral superior a los 20 mil millones de dólares y que más de 96 mil mexicanos residen en Canadá, siendo ésta la segunda comunidad mexicana más grande en el exterior.
